Eileen Cope began her publishing career as an editor at G.P. Putnam’s Sons and has worked as a literary agent for nearly 15 years. Many of her clients have appeared on numerous bestseller lists, including the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, San Francisco Chronicle, Booksense, and the Boston Globe. She also represents clients who have been nominated for the National Book Award, the Los Angeles Times Book Award, the Zora Neale Hurston/Richard Wright Legacy Award as well as Guggenheim Foundation Fellows and NEA fellows.
Eileen specializes in developing non-fiction authors and working to create branding opportunities across a multitude of media platforms including books, TV series, and product lines. She represents celebrities, interior designers, dermatologists and plastic surgeons, fitness experts, makeup artists, restaurateurs, and national retailers. Her clients include the Bravo TV’s “Millionaire Matchmaker” Patti Stanger, the Psychic Twins®, Sephora®, Dr 90210’s Gary Motykie, The Baby Whisperer, Christopher Lowell, Kerry Simon, and reality stars Jeff Lewis and Chad Rodgers.
In addition, Eileen is interested in narrative nonfiction, journalism, biography, memoir, science, history and health.
