Claire Roberts has been a publishing professional for 20 years, with 17 years of experience in UK and foreign rights. Before joining the Trident Media Group Claire oversaw the foreign rights program for Doubleday and Broadway Books, both imprints of Random House US. Prior to that she managed foreign rights for William Morrow and Avon Books, and for the trade books division of Harcourt Brace, now a part of Houghton Mifflin Harcourt.
She has handled UK and foreign rights for a wide variety of fiction and non-fiction writers, including such bestselling authors such as Kevin J. Anderson, Russell Banks, Pat Conroy, Justin Cronin, Catherine Coulter, Brian Herbert, Elizabeth George, Jon Krakauer, Michael Ondaatje, Karen Robards, Marilynne Robinson, and Spencer Johnson, as well as such newer authors as Paul Harding, Laleh Khadivi, Chris Kuzneski, C.E. Morgan and Christopher Ransom.
Claire graduated from Brown University with a B.A. in Comparative Literature and holds and MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
